Much like H.G. Wells story adapted into an old time radio play by Orson Welles "War of the Worlds", Joey Coleman is a Detroit radio personality who finds his planet and city in the midst of an other worldly invasion. Joey reports details of the crisis via microphone and acts as a liberator of sorts to his listeners.
But who are these invaders and what do they want? And what is their reasoning for wiping out the human species? Are they just seeking universal domination or is there a bigger picture here?
One thing for Joey Coleman is certain, the universe is a dark and mysterious place, and nothing is as it seems.
